“She's awake!"

"Oh, my God! Maria's finally awake!"

“Maria's awake. Come on, guys! It's time to switch back to her live streaming room!"

Now, it seemed that Maria was the most popular among the nine contestants.

After all, it wasn't everyday they saw a beautiful girl who could cut down trees without breaking a sweat. To the whole world, she was a uniquely fierce rose.

“I'm tired," Maria murmured, rubbing her aching shoulders and wrists. Despite talking to herself, she was obviously heard by everyone in the live streaming room.

“Tired? She said she was tired!"

"Turns out she does feel tired as well! I almost thought she was an alien or something!"

“Nonsense! Could aliens even be as beautiful as her? If so, then sign me up for the next space mission!"

“Thank you, Maria. You proved to us that kung fu is real!"

Of course, Maria couldn't see the live comments in the Live streaming room. She simply picked up the shovel and started digging.

The way she built her house was very simple. She dug a small hole on the ground, about the diameter of a basketball.

She kept digging until the basketball-sized hole was about two feet deep.

Then she tossed the shovel away and inserted two trunks into the hole, keeping them about four inches away from each other before filling the hole to the edge with the soil she had just dug out to make the trunks stable.

Soon, two pillars were erected on the ground.

Maria did the same thing once more about six feet from the first hole she dug.

The audience in the live streaming room soon realized that she was building the foundation for her shelter.

“Oh, wow!"

“She's a master!”

“What an efficient way to build a shelter!"

The audience quickly caught on to what Maria was doing.

Sure enough...

She dragged a piece of wood and inserted it directly into the parallel gap between the four pillars.

There were two pieces of wood in each pit, and the gap between them was about four inches. Since the two sets of wood pillars were parallel to each other, a piece of wood could easily fit between them in the gap horizontally.
