Chapter: 726
Maria scratched her head in confusion. Her long hair was slightly tousled.
She tried to recall how many days had passed since her found this wolf She remembered feeding it some fish floss because it looked so miserable back then.
Why was the wolf waiting for her at the doorstep everyday now?
Every morning, it would wait outside the cabin for food. Maria was actually surprised to see such a cheeky little devil. Where was its pride and dignity as a predator? How could a wolf be behaving like a dog?
She was completely confused, too many questions running down her mind.
“Let's get this clear. Are you a wolf or a dog?" Maria asked weakly Seeing that Maria was talking to it, the wolf stood up excitedly.
Of course, it wouldn't answer Maria's question, but its hairy tail waggled with excitement.
“Hahaha! What's happening here? Has Maria gotten herself a pet wolf?'' “Dear audience, welcome to the program about human and nature. This is a precious video wherein a human is taming a wild wolf. The female human in the video had just finished taming the wild wolf cub. I wasn't sure such a thing would happen in the next tens of thousands of years, during the evolution of human civilization... Hahaha, I'm sorry. I can't continue!"
"Ah! The little wolf is adorable. Let's give it a name! How about Rainbow?"
“Ha ha! I am pretty sure this will be the first and last wolf tamed with tuna fish floss. This is creating history, no doubt!"
Maria was unaware of the comments her little encounter had garnered all over the Internet.
She sighed, fumbled in her pocket, took out some fish floss she had prepared and threw it casually.
Rainbow, who had been waiting for this moment, pounced at the opportunity.
It actually jumped up from the ground and caught the fish floss with its mouth in midair.
It began to relish its breakfast, wagging its tail in the process. Maria washed herself by the river and ate some fish floss and wild fruit as breakfast.
She went back to the log cabin to check how much food was left. Well, the fish floss was not enough to sustain her for a month.
This little wolf had hogged on it more than her.
Maria Looked at Rainbow through the open door. The little cub was smart and wouldn't give up till it had its way. It seemed to know that the wooden cabin was Maria's exclusive territory and never tried to break in. It stayed outside quietly, waiting for Maria to feed it when it was time.
But the problem was that Maria never promised to keep it!
“What will she do? I saw a glint of doubt in Maria's eyes. Is she considering abandoning Rainbow? He is a poor, helpless creature."
“That's now right! The first time she fed Rainbow, she has signed herself up for the task of raising him. Why is she having second thoughts now?"
“We strongly condemned Maria for such a behavior and demanded her to take out more fish floss for Rainbow!"
“The Rainbow fan club on Twitter has been set up. Please follow!" After a few seconds’ thought, Maria finally picked up the shovel and walked towards the sea.
What choice did she have now?
