Chapter: 827
Vivian was still confused.

“Mr. Debenham, what's the great significance?" she asked.

Kash answered her question with a question of his own. "Vivian, are you familiar with the International Book Award?" he asked.

Vivian's eyes Lit up. "I am! It's one of the most prestigious literary awards in the world! Do you mean..."

Kash nodded, smiling. "It's almost time to apply for this year's International Book Award. The National Writers' Association as well as its branches everywhere always handle domestic applications. My guess is that this writer has just completed a work of excellence, and the reason why she's joining the Writers' Association is so that she can apply for the award. This person clearly has made a deal with Mr. Willows. She will become his apprentice first, and then be recommended by him to apply for a five-star rating. Since Mr. Willows has agreed to these terms, it would appear that the writer is qualified."

After hearing Kash's explanation, Vivian became extremely envious.

For some inexplicable reason, she thought of Maria.

Could Anthony possibly have used the Wilson family's resources to pave Maria's way to joining the Sheffield Writers’ Association?

Just the thought of it made Vivian nervous.

“Mr. Debenham," she said politely. "Becoming a five-star writer... It should be very difficult, right? What requirements does a writer usually have to meet in order to qualify?”

Hearing her question, Kash's expression became serious.

“Of course, it mainly depends on the writer's work," he replied. "If a writer has a five-star rating, then their works must be famous. Not only at home, but around the world, too."

Vivian breathed a sigh of relief, but still needed more reassurance.

“Then It should be nearly impossible for a young writer to be a five-star writer, right?"

Kash shook his head patiently. "As I said, it mainly depends on the quality of the work. However, as you might imagine, it is difficult for a young writer to achieve global fame for their literary work."

Kash paused for a moment before continuing. "Mr. Willows holds the record for youngest person to become a five-star writer in the history of the entire National Writers’ Association. He made it when he was forty years old. His talent as a writer was rare.”

Hearing this, Vivian was completely relieved.

Maria was only 20 years old. How could she possibly break the record set by Curt at age 407

Besides, she'd only just announced that she was beginning to write. She didn't even have any works yet!

Suddenly, Kash shared some more good news.

“By the way, Vivian, I happen to be able to help you! While applying for a five-star writer rating for Mr. Willows‘ apprentice, I can also apply for a one-star writer rating for you. The members of the Sheffield Writers' Association will probably be so busy checking the qualifications of Mr. Willows' apprentice that they won't have time to be strict about checking the qualifications of a one-star writer like yourself. This way, there's a greater chance you'll pass the inspection."

Finally, the good news that Vivian was waiting for came out. She felt so lucky today!

Becoming a one-star writer of the Sheffield Writers’ Association? It was already a dream come true for some.

This status meant that she now had a qualitative advantage compared to the other ordinary members of the Association. It could even be said that the ordinary members should look up to her, as if she had become a very prominent figure.
