Chapter: 838
After hanging up, Maria was still quite confused.
Should she really autograph those one hundred books?
This was so weird!
After all, she was not selling her books.
“What's bothering you?"
Anthony's calm voice sounded beside her.
"I have to go out to the Writers' Association. Looks Like my new master is quite a handful,”
Maria murmured.
Anthony smiled amiably.
“No problem. I'll drive you there.”
“What? Won't it inconvenience you?" Maria wondered.
Usually, when she had to step out for something, Jack would take her. After all, Anthony was supposed to be disabled. She couldn't possibly ask him to drive her around!
“It will only be a pleasure!"
Anthony said, turning around. Then he hurried to his room to change. When he reappeared in front of Maria, he was wearing an outfit similar to the one he had worn when he went shopping with Maria in Broome.
He wore a pair of jeans, a baseball jacket, and a stylish cap. Interestingly, Anthony also wore a pair of black framed square glasses, which made him Look like a wise man.
Anthony looked so handsome and gentle that Maria kept on stealing glances in his direction. She even subconsciously swallowed.
Anthony noticed Maria's distraction and how she swallowed.
He smiled and secretly decided that he would wear glasses more often in the future.
“This... You will be easily recognized by others Like this, won't you?" Maria asked.
“You're right."
Then Anthony took out a grey mask and wore it.
“Now no one will recognize me."
When Maria saw Anthony wearing the black framed glasses and mask, she felt there was something familiar about him.
It was so uncanny.
