Chapter: 84
“Anthony, long time no see!"

At the corner of the banquet hall, the most distinguished guests for the night-Walt, Stephen, and Allen-were gathered.

Many of the attendees hoped to befriend the three of them tonight. However, seeing them hiding from the spotlight, they understood that these noble guests didn't want to be disturbed.

When Anthony joined them, Allen felt a little nervous as he respectfully poured him a glass of wine.

He tried his best to keep himself from showing his unease, but only after seeing Anthony drink the wine he offered did he manage to breathe a sigh of relief.

Maria had very keen eyes. She would notice any slight change in expression or eye movement. Hence, Allen's behavior didn't escape her eyes. In fact, she even saw him glancing at Anthony's legs from time to time.

Besides Allen, the other two young men also appeared to be incredibly accommodating of Anthony.

They were all sitting up straight across from him as if they were trainees in the military, listening attentively to their commanding officer.

Among them, only Lyndsey looked relaxed. Although this was her first time meeting Anthony, she wasn't too curious about him as much as she paid attention to Maria.

“Everyone, this is Maria Jenkins." Anthony finally broke the uncomfortable silence between them with his casual yet indifferent tone. "My fiancee."

Ever since he joined them at the table, Walt, Stephen, and Allen had been speculating who the girl was and couldn't help but marvel at her beautiful face.

If she was only gorgeously dressed up Like the other female guests, they could have easily guessed that they were indeed in a relationship.

However, in comparison to the stunning evening dresses around, Maria appeared very simple. Even if she was personally pushing the wheelchair for Anthony, it was inevitable that people could regard her as just his assistant.

“Hello, Miss Jenkins. My name is Walt Cotton. You can just call me Walt."

“A pleasure to meet you, Miss Jenkins. I'm Stephen Morgan. Feel free to call me Stephen."

Although they were very enthusiastic in introducing themselves to Maria, their movements were still gentle and aristocratic.

The next second, they both pointed at Allen and synchronously uttered, “This man right here is Allen Pattison. Just call him Allen."

As they introduced Allen, Maria's gaze shifted towards him.

Seeing this, Allen got a little embarrassed. With a nervous smile, he greeted, "Nice to meet you, Miss Jenkins. You can call me whatever you're comfortable with."

Maria felt quite at ease. She could definitely tell that these men genuinely respected her.
