Merlin then turned to Enzo and the others.

“Are you guys coming? There are drinks and desserts in the Lounge."

He flashed them a kind smile.

“Thank you, Mr. Newman. But I'm afraid we'll have to step out of this one,”

Enzo said after his excitement had reduced a little.

“We came here today as volunteers, and we weren't done with the work we were supposed to do. If we don't finish it, the event won't start on time and it will inconvenience the participants and the judges." Merlin looked at Enzo appreciatively. If he could think that way, then he was a responsible man.

This was Maria's first time being a judge, and she was the main judge. Merlin had a lot to tell her before the event actually began.

Enzo and the others would be wasting their time if they listened to them, especially if they were going to be evaluated too.

The rest of the student volunteers agreed with Enzo. They came as volunteers, and they were going to do what they had to before thinking of any other thing.

That settled, Maria went with Merlin to the lounge.

“Mr. Debenham, welcome!" greeted the employees at the lower level of the Writers' Association when they saw Kash come in.

Kash nodded arrogantly in answer to their greeting.

Then he walked to the centre of the hall and looked around.

Almost all the volunteers, including Enzo and Dora were looking at Kash who looked like he clearly wanted to be seen.

“What are you waiting for? All of you should greet Mr. Debenham!" the man who had greeted earlier shouted to the volunteers.

Scared and a little confused, they immediately greeted Kash one by one.

“Hello, Mr. Debenham!”

“Hello, Mr. Debenham!"

They didn't speak at the same time as he would have Loved, but Kash was still very happy with the acknowledgement. He felt as though he was the main or the most important personality of today's activity.

It was only after a while that they noticed Kash had come with a young girl.

She was too dressed-up to be a writer. She was dressed so elegantly that one would have taken her for a star instead.

As they continued to observe her, they noticed that not only was she beautiful, but she was equally familiar.

“Right! I think I remember her now. She is Vivian series. She is even the lead character in the show,"
