Chapter: 894
After all the pressure she had ever gone through, she could be professional and handle it well.

So she asked Maria, "Miss Jenkins, what's the name of the play you want Jay to play? And which novel is it adapted from?"

“The name of the movie will remain the same as that of the book. It's called Female Military Counsellor,"

Maria replied casually.

Penney was taken aback, not for the first time since she came into this lounge. Female Military Counsellor?

That was Mia's most recent work!

Finally, the Star Search event was officially about to begin.

The host came on stage and introduced the history of the program to new guests and audience.

“Vivian!" Kash called excitedly as he returned to her.

"I just heard that Mr. Gomez has also arrived. Apparently, the new five-star writer from the Writers' Association of Sheffield is also here."

“Mr. Gomez?" Vivian asked in surprise and then raised an excited eyebrow. "You mean Mr. Felix Gomez, right?"

It was impossible not to have heard of Felix Gomez. Even a newcomer like her who just applied to join the Association knew who he was.

Felix was a legendary figure who was several years older than Curt.

Could that be why his writing style was always very serious and rarely vernacular? Because he was old and experienced?

Felix wasn't just a writer, but also a top Language master.

He was excellent in many foreign languages. As the chairman of the Translation Association, he was a real translation master who had many works in the country.

Vivian was aware that Felix was the one who officially translated Mia's books. Almost, if not all the authentic foreign translations of Mia's works were done by him.

Kash looked at her strangely and answered, "Of course, I'm talking about him. Who else could it be? Mr. Felix Gomez, Mr. Curt Willows and Mr. Langston Glyn are the top seniors of the National Writers’ Association. In recent years, Mr. Glyn's hasn't been feeling quite well, so Mr. Gomez has been taking care of part of his work."

Vivian nodded in understanding and then asked, “What about this new five-star writer in Sheffield. Who is it?"

“To be honest, I have no idea."

Kash hadn't even seen Maria to know who she really was. As a matter of fact, he had just been walking around and getting bits of information from his colleagues.

Excited about everything going on, Kash suggested to Vivian, "There's one person you have to pay attention to.

His name is Merlin Newman. He is the secretary general of the Writers’ Association in Sheffield. If I wasn't misled, then Merlin has actually passed the evaluation to become a four-star writer. It just hasn't been announced yet."

Vivian's heart skipped a beat when she heard this. With dreamy eyes, she grabbed Kash's arm. "Oh my God! How old is he? Isn't he the youngest four-star writer in the history of the Writers’ Association?"
