Chapter: 907
Vivian was about to blow a fuse.
She didn't bother to disguise her hatred as she glared at Maria.
Maria remained composed, but Merlin was quite taken aback by this.
He had initially presumed that the women were close friends, but it looked like they were actually enemies.
“Maria," he muttered in a quiet voice.
“Do you need me to call security?"
“Vivian, let's just get out of here now!"
Obviously, Kash knew how Vivian was feeling after all this unsightly commotion.
But he was not silly enough to offend Merlin in front of many people. So instead, he grabbed Vivian's hand and led her out of there before she lost her temper.
"Maria, you and that other Miss Jenkins... Do you know each other?" Merlin finally asked out of curiosity.
In the city of Sheffield, there were actually quite a lot of people went by the surname Jenkins.
He even vaguely remembered that there was a village in the suburb of the city where residents there were all from a big Jenkins clan.
So even though they had the same surname, Merlin didn't really think at first that they might be connected. Besides, there wasn't any resemblance between Maria and Vivian. In the end, he just assumed that they were acquaintances.
Looking at the two people's receding figures, Maria said in an indifferent tone, "Yes, but we are not close."
Maria just stated a straightforward fact. From the first day they met until today, Bill and Vivian had never treated her as a real family member.
Because of this, Maria also didn't grow fond of them.
Meanwhile, Vivian had already been pulled away from the activity's venue by Kash.
Because of the great ruckus caused just now, Vivian's ardent fans followed her outside with worried expressions on their faces.
“P-Polly... Are you okay?" A girl in glasses carefully approached, stuttering in anxiousness.
She walked in front of the fans, showing the most worry among them all.
Vivian took a faint glance at the girl and suddenly had an opportunity to act.
After just a few seconds, the fans saw tears streaming down Vivian's cheeks.
“Polly, did that girl... No, did that bitch do something bad to you just now?" the girl asked again, looking extremely distressed.
Vivian nodded, but then shook her head, as if to try to conceal her anguish.
