Chapter: 912
He quickly browsed the page on Jack's phone. "Mr. Wilson, Miss Jenkins might not be aware since she's not on Twitter often. Should I tell her?" asked Jack.

After browsing Twitter a bit more, Anthony checked the time.

“Maria is resting in the hibernation pod. Do you really want to wake her up for something so trivial?"

“Err... Sorry, you're right," Jack said in embarrassment, scratching his head.

There was no need to alert Maria to a rumor made up by an Internet troll because Jack himself was capable enough to handle it. He could do some digging to find out exactly who posted it on Twitter.

Once he found the culprit, he would do everything in his power to teach them a Lesson. He'd place so much fear in them that they'd be scared to even login to their Twitter account again.

“Mr. Wilson, should we take care of this?" Jack asked aggressively, as if he was ready for the challenge at that moment.

Taking time to reflect, Anthony shook his head and said, “I don't think Maria has offended anyone important because of her involvement with the Sheffield Writers' Association or her apprenticeship with Curt Willows. In other words, it's a typical rumor started by a typical person. You can resolve it as you usually do.”

After coming to this conclusion, he stood up and headed to a room on the second floor.

The decor in this room was unique. There was no furniture in it apart from a machine that looked like a cyberpunk thing. It was the hibernation pod 2.0!

There was a red item on the pod‘s extended platform. It was Maria's phone.

Anthony picked it up and tapped at the screen.

He chuckled and carefully typed the code: 1101.

Julie used 1101 as the password to her private safe, and it happened to be the password to Maria's phone too.

Although he unlocked it, he didn't snoop around for any private information.

He was scrolling the contact list for Curt's phone number. As soon as he found it, he called him.

It didn't take long for Curt to answer.

“Hello, my dear student. Do you miss me?" Curt sounded quite gentle and affable. It was nothing like the image he had of the Writers’ Association president, a person who was often described as very serious.

"Hello, Mr. Willows. This is Anthony Wilson."

“Um... Ah, it's you..."

Obviously, Curt knew who he was, but he was still surprised judging from his voice.

“I'm Maria's fiance."

“What? !"

Curt sounded even more surprised after hearing this. Anthony could picture his mouth being so wide open in shock that two duck eggs could probably fit.
