Chapter: 915
Curt adored these stories.
In his opinion, they were more romantic than fairy tales, more profound than fables, and more aesthetic than poems. These creations had only one flaw: they were too short.
It was the reason why Maria did not bother publishing them. In fact, these short stories only totalled a little under ten thousand words when they were all put together.
After she finished writing them, she casually shared them with Greta, who found it regretful that Maria had no intention of publishing them. As a result, Greta sent them to Curt, her grandfather.
Curt's Twitter account was known for engaging in fandom wars, especially against those who tried to smear Mia's name. It was also one of the big fan accounts that had more than a hundred thousand followers.
As soon as his tweet was posted, it immediately received hundreds of comments. "What is this? Are you actually siding with Maria?"
“Maria's earlier works? But she only turned twenty this year, right? Are you saying that she's been writing earlier than that? That's ridiculous."
"Did she write those when she was in primary school or something?"
“I haven't seen the contents of the screenshots, but it seemed Like she wrote nine different short stories. Each of them had no more than a thousand words. Maybe they were assignments from when she was in middle school.”
“Hey, are you actually one of Maria's anti-fans? You are actually trying to drag her down even more by doing this, aren't you?"
The first batch of comments was from troll accounts who did not bother reading the content of the screenshots.
It was the kind of comments Curt disliked the most. His face twisted in irritation as he read them. After a while, he began typing on his phone. "At least choose one and finish reading it before saying anything!"
Eventually, the comments under the tweet became nicer.
“Amazing! I love these stories!" They're short, but all of them were written spectacularly. Are they really Maria's works?"
“I'm writing this with tears in my eyes. These stories are fantastic! This is my first time reading Maria's works, and I can tell that she's an amazing writer!"
“I'm here to apologize for my previous comment. These nine are the most well-written stories I've ever read. They're too short, though. I need more!"
Soon, almost all of the comments under the tweet were praising the short stories.
However, there were still some people who were doubting its authenticity.
“How can you prove that these nine stories are written by Maria?"
“Exactly my point! For all we know, the owner of this account could be a plagiarizer. They might have stolen these stories somewhere and posted them here, saying that they were written by Maria.”
“Please show us some evidence that they're indeed Maria's works!"
Curt was not bothered by these types of comments. They had a point, after all, even though some of them did not have a good intention for pointing that out.
“Thanks for reminding me. Now, here are the screenshots of the copyright of Maria‘s work."
After obtaining the nine short stories, Curt personally underwent the necessary steps and procured numerous certificates of copyright on behalf of Maria.
