“But it would be better to sign the contract as soon as possible,” Jeremy pointed out.

“That way, we can all do the promotion together with the Novel Hub. Also, I can pay you in advance before we even start shooting."

Maria immediately perked up at the mention of money.

She sat up straight, ignoring Anthony's curious glance.

“Will it be the full payment in advance?"

“Of course! I don't want you to suffer any wage discrepancies throughout our collaboration!" There was a smile in Jeremy's voice when he added, “You can come to the company when you are free, and I will have the Finance Department transfer the money to your account in your presence.”

"Oh, I'm coming over right now. We can't delay work!" Maria said seriously.

Jeremy was taken aback when he heard this. It took him a few seconds to respond, then he stammered something about asking the finance personnel to prepare the money immediately.

“Are you going out?" Anthony asked innocently, pretending to know nothing.

“Come on, Let's go out for Lunch. It will be my treat!"

Anthony needed no further encouragement.

“Okay,” he nodded. "Then, I'LL order the good stuff."

“Sure, sure, help yourself! There's no need to be frugal on my account."

It was rare for Maria to be this jubilant.

Then again, she was receiving wages for the main role of what was sure to become a blockbuster, and the whole amount was going to be paid in Lump sum. All in all, it would be much more than one would earn while doing a reality show.

Anthony didn't want to sit on a wheelchair on their day out. He changed into a casual outfit, took out his cap, sunglasses, and mask, and walked side by side with Maria.

Half an hour later, at the headquarters of Yeez Entertainment. Everything went smoothly.

After signing the contract, Maria was briefed about the operations involved in the project, and finally received her pay.
