Kira was stunned momentarily and then angrily retorted, "Tyrone, are you so smitten with her that you'd make such excuses? Aren't you concerned she might go back to her ex? Remember, they share a child!"

Kira's words carried a deeper meaning.

Tyrone's expression darkened. He clenched his fist briefly, then relaxed.

“Aunt, you're overthinking. I've arranged for her protection. I'm well aware of who she's been in contact with. But from what you're suggesting, you seem to know the man. Is he from Philade?"
