Chapter: 1473
Tyrone's visit to the Fowler residence startled her. Because of his visit, Horace gave up Sierra and wanted Sabrina to come to the Fowler family.
Would Rita just sit by and do nothing about it? Not likely. Not a chance. Not in her world! Rita vehemently dissented.
Flushed and agitated, Rita sank onto the sofa, ruminating.
Out of nowhere, she thought of something. With that, she attempted to piece the phone together.
Frustrated, she abandoned it, salvaging the SIM card, and asked the driver to buy her a new phone.
After inserting the SIM, Rita dialed Blayze.
"“Blayze, is Sierra with you?"
"What's wrong?" Blayze's tone remained composed.
Rita said, "Your father asked me to return and to stop looking for Sabrina over the phone. Are you aware of my relationship with Sabrina?"
"I've heard about it."
“Sabrina is the child of my ex-husband. He abused me in the past, so I tried my best to divorce him. To avoid him, I had to leave Sabrina alone. I know I owe her a lot. Your father requested me to take Sabrina to the Fowlers as a way of making amends just now.
A wry smile played on Blayze's face.
Rita especially emphasized that taking Sabrina to the Fowler family was Horace's idea.
Horace's ploy surfaced. Was Horace trying to make Sabrina his stepsister to prevent him from making advances toward Sabrina? Well, Blayze wouldn't let Horace have it his way.
Blayze sensed Rita's words bore weight.
“And what's your take on this?" Blayze asked, smirking.
"Your father doesn't know Sabrina has been separated from me for over twenty years. How could feelings blossom under such circumstances?
The fact that Sabrina doesn't detest me is a good thing. Sierra, nurtured by me, is astute. She's akin to my daughter. I won't watch her life get ruined by going to jail!"
"And?"
"I heard of your fondness for Sabrina. I'm her biological mother.
