Chapter: 1498
After the foundation was established, she rented the first floor of an office building as her office. It was divided into several departments, and a few employees were employed. The foundation was operational now, but it encountered several problems. Sabrina needed to be there to make major decisions that she couldn't delegate to another person, so for the time being, she had to go to the foundation's office.
For a long time, Sabrina was immersed in work and before she knew it, it was already nine o'clock in the evening. Only the lights in her office were still on.
Sabrina stretched her body and prepared to call it a day. She turned off the power and left.
Since it was quite late, there were only a few people left in the building. No one was in the elevator when Sabrina got in. Unhurried, she made her way out of the elevator to the underground.
Sabrina was heading toward her car when a sudden flash of Light nearly blinded her and a car's horn blared.
Sabrina blinked and quickly ran out of the path of the oncoming car.
A second later, a van whizzed past her.
Instinctively, Sabrina looked at the van and found that the side door was open.
Alarm bells rang in her head and she was certain that something was wrong. However, it was too late for her to run away.
A man popped out of the car and grabbed Sabrina before she even saw him move. Sabrina tried to struggle, but the man pushed her into the van and hit her on the back of the head with something blunt.
Sabrina's vision went dark and she passed out.
At ten o'clock, Sabrina's driver was beginning to get antsy when Sabrina still didn't come out. He called Sabrina's phone number, but no one answered.
Ever since the driver started to work for Sabrina, Sabrina's schedule was tight and often worked overtime or socialized until eleven o'clock.
It was only ten o'clock, so the driver wasn't worried that much. He thought Sabrina was still occupied, which was why she didn't answer the phone.
A few minutes later, he called her again. No one answered.
At that moment, the driver realized that something was wrong. He got out of the car and took the elevator to Sabrina's office to have a look. The door to the foundation's office was already locked.
Perplexed, the driver called Sabrina again. No one answered the phone.
By now, the driver was starting to panic. He glanced at the locked door once again and hurried to the monitoring room of the building to get the surveillance video. The people in the monitoring room were kind and allowed him to watch the surveillance video. Since a lot of people came in and out of the building, it would take some time before the driver could catch a glimpse of Sabrina.
After several minutes of watching the surveillance video, the driver finally saw Sabrina.
According to the time on the surveillance video, Sabrina entered the elevator and got out at thirteen minutes past nine. He could see that she went to the underground, but that was as far as the surveillance video covered.
