Chapter: 1499
There was a shopping mall next to the office building. People could get to the shopping mall through the parking lot. There was also a supermarket on the first floor of the shopping mall. Would Sabrina go there to buy something?
But it was over an hour now. Even if Sabrina went to the shopping mall, it shouldn't take her this long to buy things. And she wasn't even answering the phone.
“Where is the surveillance video of the underground garage?" the driver asked.
The staff of the monitoring room exclaimed, "Something was wrong with the monitoring system of the underground garage starting from yesterday. It hasn't been fixed yet. There is no security camera covering any part of the underground garage."
The driver was shocked.
His heart suddenly lodged in his throat.
How could there be something wrong with the security cameras when he needed to find Sabrina?
The driver was certain that this was no mere coincidence and that something was actually wrong with Sabrina. His hands trembled as he took out his phone and dialed Tyrone's number.
“He... Hello, Mr. Blakely. It seems that Miss Chavez is missing..
When Sabrina finally woke up, her head was throbbing, but that was the least of her problems. She couldn't move her hands or feet, which meant that someone had tied her hands and feet and left her on the ground.
The room she was in was pitch black, so she couldn't even see her hands, let alone make out anything else.
The ground was cold, and the air was moist. The temperature had dropped, which caused Sabrina to start shivering.
Sabrina's heart sank as the moment in the underground before she was knocked out flashed across her mind.
Someone had kidnapped her.
But who would kidnap her? What was the kidnapper after?
If it was for money, it could be easily sorted out, and she might be safe for the time being.
However, she was afraid the motive behind this kidnapping was to get back at her.
After a long moment of struggling, Sabrina finally managed to sit up.
There was a faint smell in the air, and the weather was colder here than in the urban area. Sabrina suspected that she was now in the suburb. Judging by the smell, there was either a chemical plant or a ditch full of pesticide bottles around her.
Since she couldn't see anything, she couldn't tell if her bag or phone was here somewhere or if her kidnapper had taken it.
