Chapter: 1903
Owners of this place were either rich or powerful, demanding considerate and top-notch property management service. "Miss, what can I do for you?"

"About ten minutes ago, I lost a bracelet in the underground garage, and it's worth fifty thousand. I just went back to look for it in vain. I suspect that someone took it. Please help me check the surveillance video. I'll be right there."

“Okay. What are you wearing today?"

Sabrina recalled what Bettie wore and recounted, "I was wearing a light green floral chiffon blouse, a white short skirt, and white high-heeled shoes."

“Okay, got it. I'll get the surveillance video now. If there's anything, I'll inform you right away."

“Okay.”

After the call disconnected, Sabrina called Brenton and the other bodyguard over.

She turned off the gas, changed her shoes and sat down on the sofa nervously, not daring to leave the house.

At first, Sabrina had thought Keilani desired to spend more time with Tyrone in the hospital with the excuse of taking care of the hurt Jennie. With her being at home almost all the time, she felt no harm would come her way.

Only a few minutes later after she dwelled on the situation did Sabrina realize the crazy Keilani held grudges against not just her but Bettie as well. Keilani probably used Jennie's hospitalization to keep Tyrone at the hospital, disrupting the chance for her to turn to Tyrone for help.

Sensing well-orchestrated schemes from Keilani, Sabrina feared Lance would encounter the seemingly accidental car crash on his way here.

Therefore, she cautioned him not to be distracted from what happened on his way to Starry Apartment, be it a car crash or something worse.

However, all of these were mere conjectures and Sabrina was not certain of anything. With her delicate condition and the baby in her belly, she decided to err on the side of caution and refused to leave the house on her own. After all, chances were the whole thing was an elaborate plot to harm her after luring her to leave the house.

About seven minutes later, the property management staff called Sabrina back, the trembling voice palpable. “Miss, we have checked the surveillance footage. Someone did take your bracelet away, but I couldn't see their face clearly. Do you need me to call the police for you?"

As Sabrina had suspected, something happened to Bettie. Based on the staff's words, it seemed Bettie had been kidnapped.

The property management staff assumed Sabrina was kidnapped and in danger, not in the position to speak freely, which was why she had used the bracelet excuse to leave a clue of her being taken away.

"I'm fine. The person in the surveillance video is my friend, Bettie. Please call the police first."

Exhaling heavily, the property management staff replied, "Okay, I'll call the police now."

The property management staff hurriedly dialed the police. “Hello, I'm calling to report a case. I just saw from the monitor of the underground garage of Starry Apartment that someone forcibly dragged a woman into a silvery gray minibus and went east along Glamis Road. It's very urgent. The license plate number is... Okay, I'll send the surveillance footage over... The video has been sent..."

After a while, Sabrina called the property management staff again.
