Chapter: 1953
But then again, Kira was Tyrone's biological mom, and Keilani was fond of Tyrone and even had a kid with him. This needed a careful approach.

After Bettie's bridal photoshoot was over, Sabrina dove back into her other photography projects but still managed to visit Jennie in the hospital twice during the evenings.

Sabrina positioned herself across the hospital bed, watching as a nurse tended to Jennie's wounds.

“The healing process is going well. We'll be able to take out the stitches tomorrow," the nurse announced.

Jennie's face lit up with hope. "So, I can leave the hospital soon?"

"That's right."

"Woohoo!" Jennie exclaimed, turning toward Sabrina with a gleeful twirl.

After they had eaten, Sabrina and Jennie went for a stroll downstairs.

Hearing Jennie's sigh, Sabrina glanced down to see Jennie pouting like she was much older than her years, which made Sabrina laugh.

“What's the matter? Why the long face?"

Jennie looked up. “Sabrina, my uncle came to see me this morning.”

It clicked for Sabrina right away. Jennie was talking about Keilani's brother. So, the Wilson family had come to Mathias? Could it be they came for Royce, wanting to get Keilani out sooner?

“How did your uncle's visit make you feel so down?" Sabrina inquired, seeking to understand Jennie's concern.

"He handed me a hefty sum of money and asked who I planned to live with in the future. Naturally, I chose Tyrone. He promised that once Keilani was freed from the police, they'd send her packing so she'd no Longer be a nuisance to me."

Sabrina quirked an eyebrow. “Sounds perfect, doesn't it?" She felt herself overly skeptical. Looked like even Keilani's brother disapproved of Keilani's doings.

Jennie reflected, tapping her fingertips together. "Well... You know, at first, I thought he was here to vouch for Keilani, so I might have been a bit cold..."

Sabrina offered a reassuring smile. “He'll understand. If he's still around in Mathias after you get out, why not ask him out to dine together? And hey, don't Lump him together with Keilani."

"Alright." Jennie nodded, shot a glance at Sabrina, and softly laid a hand on her stomach. "Sabrina, why's the baby so small?"

The small bump was hardly noticeable.

“Jennie, you started out this small, too. Just give him a bit of time. He'll grow."
