Chapter: 1996
"Sure." Tyrone's voice was low.
Just as Sabrina was exiting the car, she suddenly halted. She stared at Tyrone and said, "Oh, by the way..."
Tyrone looked at her questioningly.
"I checked with my friend, and she's okay with you joining us. What do you say?" Sabrina inquired, a playful look in her eyes.
Tyrone was taken aback, and then it dawned on him. Sabrina had been teasing him! She was aware of his feelings and had sought her friend's approval but kept him in suspense until the last moment.
Just when he felt all hope was lost, she extended the invitation.
What a cruel joke!
“Don't feel like joining you," Tyrone said, turning away, his annoyance palpable.
"So, should I go in alone?"
"Go ahead."
Realizing Tyrone was serious about not joining, Sabrina turned back and proceeded to the restaurant.
Just as Sabrina was about to enter the restaurant, Tyrone suddenly embraced her tightly and kissed her passionately against the wall, their breaths mingling.
By the restaurant's entrance, the coming and going of patrons made their intimate moment less conspicuous, yet Sabrina's face flushed with embarrassment.
Just then, Sabrina's phone interrupted the moment.
Sabrina hastily pushed Tyrone away and answered, “Hi Bella... We're right outside the restaurant. We'll be there shortly..."
After ending the call, Sabrina gave Tyrone a look before stepping into the dining area. Tyrone trailed behind her.
"Thought you weren't joining?" Sabrina pouted.
"I wasn't serious."
Inside, Sabrina located Bella and Collen, exchanged pleasantries, and introduced Tyrone to them.
Collen exchanged a friendly greeting with Tyrone.
