The script was unmistakably Lance's.

Back in high school, Lance's writing had already been attractive, albeit with a youthful flair. Now, his script was bold and determined, reminiscent of a fully mature eagle.

The makeup artists on set, who were acquainted with Bettie and had been at her wedding, said teasingly, “Wow, he can't bear to be apart from you even for a few days."

"I heard Bettie's husband was her high school sweetheart. That's so admirable!"

"This room is filled with the aroma of love."

“Bettie, you've just married and now you're on set. Does your husband not mind?"

"If he minded, he wouldn't have sent flowers."

Bettie found herself without a response. She chose not to discuss her current state with Lance with anyone on set or to acknowledge his gesture publicly. She seized an opportunity to discard the flowers into a trash bin and snapped a photo to send to Lance.

Lance did not respond.

The following day, Bettie received another bouquet.

These flowers were different but equally stunning, vibrant, and in full bloom. Included was a card, bearing the same message as before, written by hand.

Bettie endured more good-natured teasing words from her colleagues, her emotions mixed. She took the opportunity to dispose of the flowers, but not without first capturing a photo of those flowers in a trash bin to send to Lance.

Lance still didn't respond, yet the bouquets continued to arrive.

After several more deliveries of flowers, Bettie's colleagues eventually got used to it but still exclaimed, "Bettie, your husband really spoils you. Is he going to keep sending flowers until filming ends?"

Back at her hotel, Bettie messaged Lance. “Stop sending flowers. If you really want to give something, just send the money instead."

Lance was at a loss for words.

The day after, once Bettie had completed her work, she noticed a transfer of 498 dollars from Lance in her account with the note.

“For my art master (voluntarily given)."

Bettie was speechless.

Soon, it was time for another prenatal appointment, and Tyrone went with Sabrina to the hospital.
