Chapter: 2108
“That's not true. I heard it from you," Tyrone replied with a smile, his eyes a bit teary.
Tyrone had heard everything ever since Sabrina said, "If Tyrone were dead..." It turned out he was the one Sabrina had feelings for. But he had caused her so much heartache.
Back then, Tyrone had been focused on someone else, missing the longing looks Sabrina gave him, filled with hidden love.
Tyrone had inadvertently crushed Sabrina's feelings, missing the moment when she loved him most. By the time he figured it out, she had stopped waiting. He was no longer the man Sabrina loved with all her heart. Luckily, he still managed to hold on to Sabrina. He would slowly win her back.
"I didn't say anything. You must have heard wrong," Sabrina replied.
“Deny it all you want, but I know you always deny your feelings,"
Tyrone said, hugging Sabrina and resting his chin on her forehead.
“Even if I misheard, I'm still very happy."
Sabrina pinched his waist. "I don't deny my feelings."
“Sabrina, I'm sorry," Tyrone whispered. “If I had realized my feelings for you sooner, things would have been so much better." That way, Sabrina wouldn't have suffered so much, and they wouldn't have lost their first child.
“It's all in the past. Let's not talk about it anymore," Sabrina said.
“If it's in the past, why can't you admit it?" Tyrone asked.
Sabrina was taken aback and pursed her lips. Why couldn't she admit it? Her mind shifted to the past, something she had been managing to avoid recalling. Her nose suddenly tingled and her eyes filled with tears.
Sabrina thought she had moved on, but as soon as Tyrone brought it up, all the old pain resurfaced, mourning the old Sabrina who once loved Tyrone so deeply. That shy, self-conscious, sensitive Sabrina, who didn't even dare to say she loved Tyrone out loud for fear of being looked down on or mocked, always kept her guard up, building a high wall around her heart. She loved Tyrone but didn't trust him.
She could die for him but didn't dare to rely on him.
"Tyrone."
"Yes?"
“Are you trying to make me cry?"
"Alright, I won't mention it anymore." Tyrone bowed his head, gently comforting Sabrina. He pressed his forehead against hers, their noses touching. "Don't cry. You were amazing back then. I was the one at fault. I didn't deserve your true love."
Sabrina wiped her eyes and pinched Tyrone's waist. “You definitely didn't deserve it. I was young and naive, fooled by your looks. You're cold, bad-tempered, and not kind or thoughtful. If I had known, I wouldn't have liked you. No, I didn't like you. I liked the perfect Tyrone I imagined."
