Chapter: 2110
Tyrone murmured softly, “It was my mistake. I'm sorry."
“I never really liked chocolate. It was too bitter. But do you know why I used to enjoy cupcakes?"
"Why?"
“Because you gave me one once. I started liking cupcakes because of you."
Tyrone felt a pang in his heart and held Sabrina closer. “If... If that night hadn't happened, would you have kept your feelings hidden?"
“Most likely." In the past, Sabrina had lacked the courage to confess.
"Wouldn't you have regretted it?"
Sabrina shook her head. She had suffered many losses and harbored numerous regrets. At that time, she couldn't muster the courage to take a chance. Now, speaking these words aloud brought her a sense of relief.
Tyrone grinned. “Well, we owe that night for bringing us together."
“When you woke up that morning and realized it was me, you seemed really downcast."
If it had involved anyone else, Tyrone might have been able to resolve it with money. But not with Sabrina. He knew his grandpa would have surely insisted he take responsibility.
Tyrone remarked, "If there's a next life, let me be the one to fall for you first and pursue you."
Sabrina wanted to speak, but Tyrone silenced her with a kiss. "Umm..."
Tyrone was passionate, and Sabrina held onto his shoulders, reciprocating.
Suddenly, a childish voice called from outside. “Sabrina, haven't you washed the cherry tomatoes yet? I'll do it myself!"
As Jennie's footsteps neared, Sabrina placed her hands on Tyrone's shoulders and gently pushed him away. "“Jennie's approaching," she warned.
Reluctantly, Tyrone released Sabrina and caressed her waist. "I don't want to leave tonight," he murmured.
Sabrina rolled her eyes at Tyrone and brushed off his hand. She picked up the fruit plate and left the kitchen. Caressing Jennie's head, she declared, "Let's dig in."
Jennie glanced at Sabrina's red lips and winked. "Thanks, Sabrina."
Sabrina blushed. Jennie's sharp wit and keen eyes were not good things sometimes.
