Chapter: 1063
When Claudia reached the person that had fallen in water, she held the motorboat with one hand and pulled Zaria up with the other.

She still remembered how Zaria almost dragged her down when she was trying to help her up.

Thinking about it now, five years later, left an incredible feeling in Claudia's heart.

After she brought the woman to safety, she left without wasting a second, not just because she was scared her identity would be exposed, but also because she didn't save the woman to receive any sort of compensation. She was already gratified that the woman was safe.

After that incident, when Zaria tried to find her in the circle of motorboat riders, she didn't show up.

She had thought that Zaria would give up after some time. But here they were, five years later.

Claudia blushed some more and stammered at first, “Well. I thought you would eventually give up looking for me after about two years.”

Zaria looked bewildered.

“Give up? How could you imagine that? You saved me!"

Bennett joined them at this time.

After seeing the way Zaria kissed Claudia just now, he subtly pulled his wife away from her and asked softly, “What are you Ladies talking about?"

He lowered his head towards Claudia, the tip of his nose almost touching her forehead.

With so many people around and Zaria right in front of them, Claudia's face flushed and got hotter with Bennett's inappropriate proximity. She raised her eyelids to look at him and tried to keep some distance between them.

"Miss Santiago and I were talking about the fact that I saved her."

"Really? When was that?"

“Five years ago."

Zaria then took Claudia's hand.

"Cece, my parents have always wanted to express their gratitude. It's a great thing that they're here today. Can you come and see them with me?"

She looked at Bennett and said, as if to get rid of him, "Mr. Dreskin, today is your father's birthday. Shouldn't you be helping to entertain the guests? Leave Cece with me while you help with your family."

Claudia nodded in agreement with Zaria and looked at Bennett.

"I'IL go with Miss Santiago. You should go and deal with what you have to."

Bennett glanced at Zaria indifferently, but when he met her provocative eyes, he quickly looked away.

When his gaze fell back on Claudia, it looked much softer. He sighed and said, “With Darnley here, it's not my turn to greet the guests.

But if you want to go with Miss Santiago, go ahead. I'll meet you up later."
