Chapter: 1098
The conversation between her and Anthony had already concluded in the private room of the two families the other day.

If he had unfinished words to say, that was no concern of hers.

Furrowing her brow, Claudia attempted to walk past him.

"But, Cece!" Seeing that she was leaving, Anthony was a little anxious and raised his voice unconsciously.

The restaurant exuded an air of refined elegance, with the soft melody of the piano in the background and well-spaced tables to create a sense of intimacy. The layout kept the ambient noise to a pleasant murmur, encouraging diners to speak in hushed tones.

Anthony's sudden call of ‘Cece’ disrupted the tranquility and drew the attention of nearby customers.

Claudia's expression darkened.

"Mr. Nixon, please get out of the way," she said through gritted teeth.

Anthony didn't want to cause a scene, especially for Claudia's sake.

He genuinely had something important to tell her.

However, it was evident that Claudia didn't want to hear him out. He pursed his lips and glanced around awkwardly.

"Cece, I have something to tell you. It's about your father. If you want to know, I'll wait for you at the same place," he said softly.

With that, he turned and left.

Claudia stood stunned by what he had said.

Anthony's shout of “Cece” echoed loudly, drawing the attention of nearby diners.

Naturally, the woman with him also heard.

Darlene Molina was already aware of the past relationship between Claudia and Anthony.

Knowing that Claudia was now married to Bennett, she hadn't expected Anthony to risk agitating Bennett now.

During their time together, Anthony had treated her well. He seemed uninterested in other women and appeared genuinely devoted to her.

She was aware of the rumors linking Claudia and Anthony, which made her a bit anxious about him being easily swayed by other women.

Delilah had been close to him before, but since Anthony had sent her away, Darlene didn't need to concern herself with it anymore.

Not considering his past relationships, Darlene believed that Anthony was a good man.

In a word, Darlene was thoroughly content with Anthony.

The only source of discontent was that Anthony appeared to remain infatuated with Claudia.
