Chapter: 1160
Completely unaware of the effect he was having on her.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Claudia lowered her head and basked in the warmth of Bennett's consideration and tenderness.

Why should she feel guilty for indulging in his kindness when he didn't mind?

She was his wife, after all.

As Bennett finished drying her hair, Claudia felt a flush of arousal and a thin layer of sweat covering her skin.

Afraid of being discovered, she scrambled to the bed and snuggled in, pretending to be tired.

“I'm a little sleepy.”

Bennett looked at her with a knowing expression but didn't expose her.

“Okay, sleep well."

At first, Claudia pretended to be sleepy, but after lying in bed for a while, she became drowsy.

Bennett packed away the hair dryer and came out of the bathroom. He turned off the lights, and the room fell into darkness.

She felt the mattress sink slightly under his weight and murmured sleepily, "Bennett," but kept her eyes closed.

He pulled the quilt to cover himself and whispered, "Shh, just sleep."

Claudia let out a Little moan of contentment and soon drifted off to sleep.

When Claudia woke up the next day, she glanced at the clock and saw it was already 7 a.m.

Without exception, Bennett had already gotten up.

After washing her face and brushing her teeth, Claudia went downstairs. Marcia was finishing up breakfast and greeted her warmly.

"Good morning, Mrs. Dreskin. Breakfast is ready."

Claudia nodded in appreciation and asked, “Did you see my husband this morning?"

Marcia shook her head.

“I was in the kitchen just now."

Claudia guessed that Bennett was most likely in the swimming pool.

"You can serve it. We'll be there soon."

"Okay."
