Even though it was early morning, it was already hot outside. So Claudia didn't mind if the breakfast got cold.

Claudia made her way past the garden and towards the swimming pool.

As expected, Bennett had just finished showering after completing his laps.

When he saw her, his eyes lit up.

“Why are you up?"

“Marcia said breakfast was ready."

Bennett spread his arms in a welcoming gesture, and Claudia hesitated.

Then she threw herself into his embrace, holding him tightly.

He wrapped an arm around Claudia's waist and pulled her close, planting a soft kiss on her lips as they walked.

Claudia blushed at the affectionate gesture, but as they approached the villa, she pushed him away playfully and said, "I'm hungry!"

With a grin, she darted into the villa.

When they arrived, Marcia had already set out breakfast on the table.

Once they ate, Claudia kissed Bennett goodbye and saw him off to work.

Claudia returned to her room to get dressed and put on some makeup.

At 9 a.m., she headed out to pick up Aurora, who she hadn't seen in nearly two weeks due to Aurora's busy schedule.

Claudia drove to the gate of Aurora's apartment complex and called her to let her know she had arrived.

Aurora answered her phone just as she entered the elevator to head down to the lobby.

Five minutes later, the two friends finally met up and greeted each other warmly.

As Aurora got into the car, Claudia couldn't help but notice that something seemed different about her.

However, she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

“Aurora, have you been sleeping well lately?"

Aurora stopped what she was doing and looked at Claudia with a slight frown.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

Claudia pointed to the dark circles under Aurora's eyes.
