Chapter: 1181
Like a wolf who had just bit the rabbit, Bennett had no intention of letting her go easily.
The fluffy bed was like a big meadow, and like a trapped rabbit, Claudia could do nothing except lie there and pant.
Finally, the ravenous wolf showed compassion and released the rabbit so it could continue living.
Anyway, they could always do it again since they had plenty of time together.
Last night was a restless one for Claudia. She had a dream, and in it, she and Bennett were making love. She could still vividly remember how profusely he was sweating.
She had spent the entire night dreaming about it. It felt so real that she wondered if she had been awake the whole time.
When she opened her eyes, she was not sure if she was still dreaming or if she was awake.
She stared at the ceiling for what seemed like an eternity before she realized she was no longer dreaming.
Why did she have such a dream in the first place?
Claudia's cheeks reddened as she sat up, but she stopped short when she felt the ache in her waist.
Her thoughts flashed back to what had happened the night before.
Slowly, her already flushed face became the color of a beetroot.
She flopped back into bed, pulled the comforter over her head, and began rolling around. She was surprised when she found herself wrapped in the comforter.
Feeling a little silly, Claudia rolled the other way, pushed back the comforter, and uncovered her head.
It was a remarkably silent room, which meant she was the only one in there, and she was thankful for that.
She grabbed the phone and checked the time.
It was already nine o'clock in the morning. She wondered how long she had slept last night.
Bennett must have arrived at the company by now.
A huge sigh of relief escaped Claudia's lips.
The cocktail she had last night had a very modest percentage of alcohol, and she was just slightly intoxicated, so of course, she remembered what had transpired.
How it happened was very vivid in Claudia's memory.
As she thought back on what she had said the night before, she covered her face with her hand as embarrassment crept into her.
She wanted to scream so badly.
Inwardly, she promised not to drink alcohol again.
