Chapter: 1201
Finding the question equally puzzling, Claudia responded, “You know him, Aurora?"

"Absolutely, he's the heir to Toryea Group. But it's obvious that he doesn't know me."

"I see." Claudia nodded slowly. Then she started telling Aurora how she knew Xavier.

Aurora recalled what had happened last time. But she was surprised to discover that the person Claudia had saved was Xavier.

"Claudia, you're so lucky! If you hadn't married Bennett, Xavier would have also been a good choice."

After Aurora mentioned it, she suddenly thought of something, and her expression changed. She hastily spat a few times, attempting to dispel any bad omens, then said, "I take it back. Xavier wouldn't be a good match for you. It just occurred to me that he is notorious for being a playboy."

At first, Claudia felt embarrassed by the comment Aurora made about Xavier. But then she wondered about something. "How do you know that information about him?" she asked curiously.

“It's not that difficult to find out. Everyone in the company knows that Xavier is a playboy!" Aurora snorted.

Claudia smiled. She wasn't interested in Xavier's affairs at all.

"Considering his background, it's not unexpected for him to have multiple girlfriends."

Unlike Bennett, who wasn't interested in forming close relationships with women, Xavier frequently changed his girlfriends. However, he was cautious and discreet to prevent any potential scandals. The women he dated appeared to be satisfied with him.

After all, he hailed from such a wealthy family. The woman who eventually married him would likely come from a similarly esteemed social background.

With that said, Claudia shifted the conversation. "Aurora, will you still be busy with work?"

Aurora suddenly stiffened, feeling a rush of guilt at Claudia's question. She took a sip of her water to compose herself and replied, "No, I won't be busy until the end of the year."

Then she furrowed her brows and said, "Why do you ask? Is there something wrong?"

Claudia smiled. "It's nothing. I think you've been working hard these past few days, that's all."

“Oh, okay."

She didn't often meet with Breck, just once or twice a week.

“By the way, have you heard of any updates about your father?" asked Aurora, cautiously shifting the topic. She didn't dare to delve further into the matter.

Hearing Aurora bring it up, Claudia felt a tinge of disappointment.

She shook her head and responded, “No. The person called using a virtual number, and Bennett's team couldn't trace any information.

Besides, they haven't called again."

Jace wasn't making matters any easier for her. Claudia sighed and continued. “My father won't tell me what's happening. He hides the truth from me and doesn't want me to know."

His secrecy made the situation even more complicated.
