Chapter: 1327
"They are a gift from my wife."
He had pondered whether to arrange all the roses or opt for a select few in the vase.
Upon hearing Bennett's words, Jackson was relieved he hadn't acted rashly.
How could he dare withhold any of Claudia's flowers? Each bloom deserved a spot in the vase.
“I envy you, Mr. Dreskin," said Jackson, a rare compliment from him.
Bennett gave him a fleeting glance. “Thank you." He then entered his office.
Jackson, carrying the bouquet, headed to the pantry. Lacking expertise in flower arrangements, he sought assistance.
“Are you adept at flower arrangement, Fernanda?"
Fernanda appeared taken aback. "I did study it in university, but I'm not particularly skilled."
Jackson hadn't anticipated finding someone with the know-how and urged, "Come over."
Looking at Jackson's expressionless face, Fernanda sensed she might have made some mistakes. She quickly stood up and followed him to the pantry. “Jackson?”
“These are the flowers Mrs. Dreskin gave Mr. Dreskin. Trim them and place them in the vase. Let me know when you're done." Jackson paused and added, “By the way, keep all the flowers."
Before Fernanda could recover from the origin of the roses, she heard Jackson's instructions.
She looked at the flowers in her arms in a daze and asked, “Are you asking me to only arrange the roses?"
She couldn't show off her flower arrangement skills only by arranging roses.
"Well, do as you wish. If you need more flowers, buy some. But make sure the roses stand out."
At that moment, Fernanda finally had an epiphany and said, “I understand! I promise to complete the task!"
Concerned that Fernanda might not fully grasp his intentions, Jackson couldn't help but say, "Fernanda, you know, Mr. Dreskin prefers to keep a low profile. Yesterday, on his birthday, Mrs. Dreskin sent him roses, and he brought them to the company. So, please make sure nothing goes wrong with the roses, alright?"
"Don't worry, Jackson. I won't let anything happen to the flowers!"
Jackson sensed that Fernanda might not entirely understand his message, but he chose not to elaborate.
He would drop a hint after Fernanda finished arranging the flowers.
Bennett brought the flowers to the company not just to appreciate Claudia's gesture.
It was similar to the last time Claudia visited the company.
Jackson thought that he was indeed a smart secretary.
