Chapter: 19
Delilah had been buying her way to trending searches. It was time she had a taste of her own medicine.
Worried that Claudia might have second thoughts, Aurora added, "You've been too patient till now. It's time to fight back! Delilah has no shame. We need to give her a lesson she won't forget." just go ahead and post it. I'll ensure it trends later."
“Why not? The moment we share this, it'll be a slap in her face..."
Before Aurora could complete her thought, she caught onto Claudia's words. "Wait, Cece, you want me to tweet this now? I thought you..."
Hearing her friend's astonished voice, Claudia realized how foolish she'd been to ever Love Anthony.
Aurora was so overjoyed she could barely hold back her tears. "I'LL post it immediately! I'1l tag you in it! Bye!”
Once she hung up, Aurora hopped onto her Twitter account, which was verified. Despite neglecting the account due to her hectic schedule over the past couple of years, she still had around a hundred thousand followers.
After tweeting the news, she spent a thousand dollars to boost her post's visibility. Still unsatisfied, she proceeded to share the news on her Facebook page.
Upon logging into Twitter, Claudia saw Aurora's tweet. Claudia had two Twitter accounts, one was an official, verified one with around three hundred thousand followers, while the other was an alternate account.
Previously, Claudia had strived to keep her personal life separate from her official account, which she mostly used for work-related purposes.
Now it seemed the more discreet she was, the more others took her for a pushover!
Claudia immediately reached out to her assistant, instructing her to make her retweeted news a trending topic.
The assistant was shocked to hear Claudia's request. It was the first time she had ever been asked to ensure a topic trended. The news Left her teary-eyed.
Reading the contents of the post made her even more excited.
This was beyond belief!
She knew that Claudia was planning something big!
The anticipation sent chills down her spine.
Once she ended the call, Claudia noticed a notification on her Facebook.
Opening it, she was showered with likes. In a mere blink of ten minutes, over 3@@ people had shown their appreciation.
Claudia understood the astonishment resonating within her followers, though they didn't explicitly voice it.
Just as she was about to peek at Aurora's Twitter, a peculiar message on her Facebook caught her eye, succinctly saying, “I know."
The Facebook friend who left this comment was unfamiliar to Claudia, hence she didn't ponder much over it.
