He picked up the phone and answered it impatiently.

The phone had barely been pressed against his ear when a harsh and rough male voice came from the other end. "Tell me you are joking, Bennett! Are you really going to marry that Claudia woman?"

“You are mistaken. I am not GOING to marry Claudia. I have ALREADY married her!"

“Humph! In your dreams! Over my dead body will I allow such a woman to marry into this family!"

“There's nothing you can do about it. Besides, my marriage has nothing to do with the Dreskin family."

The man on the other end soon ditched speaking. He began to roar for real. Staring at the sunny sky through the French window, Bennett pulled the phone away from his ear and said, “Since you have nothing else to say, I'll hang up first."

He ended the call afterward.

At the same time, Benico almost exploded when he heard the disconnect tone. He pounded the table in front of him Like crazy.

Jolie came in with a cup of tea. She didn't need a rocket scientist to tell her that he had just quarreled with Bennett. His face said it all!

Sighing helplessly, she set down the cup in front of him.

“Drink this so you can calm down."

“How can I calm down? How? That boy thinks he can go against me because he can now grow a beard. He has no respect for me!"

Thinking of Claudia whom she met in the morning, Jolie's face softened.

“Looks like Claudia is really something. Bennett is obsessed with her."

These words added fuel to the fire. Benico exploded this time. He bellowed, "Let me be the judge of that when I meet her!"

“Don't go to see your father now. He's in a bad mood."

With a frown, Darnley asked, "Is it because of that brat again?'" Jolie gave him a slap on the chest. "Don't call Bennett that. He's your elder brother after all.”
