This money came out of the blue. When she first saw it, she could hardly believe her eyes and then she almost jumped up and screamed for joy.

Never had she received such a huge sum in her entire life.

Although it was a pleasant surprise, accepting it was out of the question.

It wasn't that she didn't like money or didn't have needs that needed to be met. After all, who in this world actually hated money? Claudia was just a woman of principles. Instead of taking handouts, she preferred to work hard for her own money. Worse yet, she didn't think it was appropriate to take money from Bennett since they didn't marry for love.

Claudia checked the time and found that it was already three o'clock in the afternoon.

Bennett was most likely taking his afternoon nap now.

She didn't want to disturb him, but she couldn't keep calm with this huge amount sitting in her bank account.

She decided to meet Bennett now.

Claudia made a beeline for the first floor.

Just as she had guessed, Bennett was no longer in the living room.

Marcia also wasn't in sight. The entire villa was extremely quiet.

Calculating that he must have gone to take a nap a while back, Claudia ascended the stairs to the second floor with her phone in hand.

She thought maybe she should take a nap as well and talked to Bennett later.

Just as she was meters away from her bedroom, the door of the master bedroom swung open. Bennett peered outside from behind the door and asked plainly, "Are you done with your piano practice?"

He had gotten a change of clothes. Now, he was clad in a black satin shirt that made his skin Look smoother than ever. His face was, in a word, perfect! His facial features were so delicate as though chiseled carefully by a master. He looked so noble without even trying.

Claudia was drawn in by his handsome fame. Before she could lose all her senses, she blinked hard and pinched the rabbit ear on her phone case. Her cheeks were aflame as she avoided eye contact with Bennett. Finally, she replied, "Yes, I'm done."

“What are you up to now? Going to take a nap?"

Claudia nodded. Afraid that he would misunderstand her, she added, "I was actually looking for you."

"on?"

Bennett raised his eyebrows as he maintained a Lazy posture. His hard face eased up quickly.

The next second, he opened the door wider and let go of the doorknob.

“Come on in. Let's talk." Claudia's first thought was to say no.

But her body betrayed her. Before she knew what was happening, she found herself following him.
