Chapter: 270
As she looked out at the passing city Lights, Claudia found herself lost in thought. She considered the hardship Bennett must have endured with his stepmother since childhood, causing her to view him with renewed sympathy.

Back in her room, she rushed to consult her friend, Aurora.

“Aurora! I need your help!" Claudia sent the message.

“What's going on?" Aurora responded.

Claudia asked, "Do you know of any good ways to console someone?"

Why? Did your husband come home in a bad mood?" Aurora queried.

"Yes, somewhat. I don't think his father really cares about him. He only seems interested in his own agenda. It's heartbreaking to see

Bennett like this. He barely ate at dinner

Aurora responded nonchalantly, "Simple. Wear your most sexy Lingerie and get into bed with him. Trust me, it'll work like a charm. He'll bounce right back."

Aurora was unreliable after all, and Claudia wasn't skilled in comforting others either.

As a child, Claudia didn't have many friends, and Aurora was the most important one. When Aurora faced difficult moments, she would process her emotions privately, leaving Claudia with no chance to offer comfort.

With Aurora unavailable for advice, Claudia turned to the Internet to gather any useful information she could find.

Having spent over half an hour sifting through various online forums on her phone, Claudia finally got some useful information from a post.

She pondered for a moment, and then decided upon a Likely effective method of distraction for Bennett.

Bennett had barely touched his food throughout the evening. Perhaps preparing a meal would serve the dual purpose of occupying him and satisfying his hunger. It was a perfect two-for-one solution.

With her plan in mind, Claudia rose and made her way to the kitchen to cook some noodles.

Why was she going to cook noodles?

Her culinary skills were, unfortunately, somewhat lacking. She was no master chef.

Preparing the simple dish took no time at all; within a mere ten minutes, Claudia emerged from the kitchen clutching a steaming bowl of appetizing noodles.

The villa's size was so overwhelming that she nearly wandered into the wrong room after leaving the kitchen
