Chapter: 312
“Have you seen the trending topic on Twitter?” Thinking of the tweet he made earlier, Claudia blushed uncontrollably.
“Yes, I have."
Bennett kept his eyes on his phone screen. After a few taps, the trend table on Twitter was opened.
“I'm not difficult to persuade"
That exact statement was No. 1 on the trend table.
Out of the corner of her eye, Claudia saw him click the topic. Without thinking twice, she covered the phone screen with her hand and cried, "Don't!"
Bennett took a look at her hand and then Looked up at her face.
He didn't utter a word, but he had a big question mark on his face. He was clearly wondering why she did such a thing.
Heat burned Claudia's cheeks under his intense gaze. She quickly withdrew her hand and uttered, "Sorry. Can you do me a favor?"
“What favor?"
Bennett put down his phone and then focused his attention on the hand she had just reached out.
Out of guilt, Claudia had lowered her head, so she didn't see what he just did. "I need your help picking out a song for my performance which is in two months. Please if you don't mind, can you Listen to me play and then give me some advice?"
Her words weren't entirely true. Indeed, she was slated to make a performance in two months. However, she had already decided on which song to play.
She only asked for his help to distract him.
The comments tweeps made after his tweet was just too explicit. She couldn't bear to be present while he read them.
The thought of it alone made her feel ashamed. Gosh, people were so dirty-minded these days!
"Sure.”
“Shall we go to the piano room now?" Claudia motioned to the door.
“After you."
Claudia glanced at his phone. Although she knew that she couldn't stop him from reading the comments forever, she calculated that she would go to her bedroom after getting his opinion on her performance. He was free to read the comments in her absence.
With Claudia leading the way, the two of them soon entered the piano room. She sat down in front of the grand piano. She had just straightened her back and stretched out her fingers when a deep voice came from behind. "I'm trending on Twitter!”
His tone was certain, not questioning.
One of Claudia's fingers accidentally pressed a high key. She froze as her eyes bulged.
As soon as the room quieted down, Bennett's voice was heard from behind again.
