Chapter: 376
“No.”
“See? Only the ordinary and vulgar women lose control and settle for lesser men like Anthony. During all those years you were together, you'd only shared a few kisses, right?"
With a blush, Claudia clarified, "I didn't kiss him, not really.
But if a kiss on the cheek was considered a kiss, then... Yes, we've shared some kisses."
Aurora, wearing a look of comprehension, turned to Claudia and said earnestly, "Girl, Bennett is your Lawful husband. Is there anything wrong in you wanting to touch him? Absolutely not! Even if you kiss him, he has no choice but to accept it, right?”
Claudia's cheeks flushed a deep shade of red. Even though Aurora was correct, the bluntness of the statement embarrassed her, especially in public. She hurriedly shifted the conversation. "That's true! But why did Zaria express her gratitude to me on social media?"
Upon hearing Zaria‘s name, Aurora's focus shifted immediately.
“Miss Santiago truly is a puzzle."
Claudia sighed in relief.
Just then, the food arrived. The two engaged in Lively chatter about Zaria's peculiar conduct and gossiped about envious individuals within their social circle.
They relished their meal thoroughly.
After eating more than she intended, Claudia felt a slight discomfort in her stomach. "I think I ate too much."
Rubbing her slightly bloated stomach, Aurora, who had similarly indulged, confessed, "I've eaten too much as well!"
The pair exchanged glances and rose to settle the bill, deciding to stroll through the shopping mall across the street to aid digestion.
The mall was bustling with people. Claudia and Aurora leisurely explored all six floors before deciding to return home around nine in the evening.
But upon reaching the mall entrance, they found it pouring outside. The weather was perfectly fine when they entered. When did it start raining?
Stuck due to the unexpected rain, Claudia glanced at Aurora and inquired, "How will you manage to return home?"
She wasn't concerned, knowing she could always call her father to send his driver.
"No worries. Guess I'll Leave once the rain stops.”
Aurora seemed unfazed by the rain. "What about you? Is Bennett coming to pick you up?"
Claudia shook her head.
“He's at a dinner party tonight."
The dinner party Bennett was attending wouldn't have concluded yet.
As soon as Claudia finished speaking, a derisive voice interjected, "He simply wouldn't come to pick you up. It has nothing to do with any dinner party."
