The voice dripped with disdain. Both Claudia and Aurora instinctively turned their heads in its direction.

Finding Kristy and her friend standing nearby, Claudia was left speechless.

This truly was an unfortunate coincidence, running into her ex's current lover.

Kristy's friend gave Claudia a quick Look before turning to her friend.

“Kristy, is Mr. Nixon able to pick you up since he's just back from his business trip?"

Kristy responded with a smile, "He's on his way."

Observing the duo's act, Aurora prepared to confront them.

Despite her anger, Claudia was aware of the large crowd waiting for the rain to cease.

Onlookers who heard Kristy's conversation wouldn't pay much attention, but if she and Aurora retaliated vocally, they would only invite mockery.

“Aurora, let it go."

“No way, I need to zip her mouth shut!"

Just as Aurora finished speaking, a black Benz pulled up amidst the rainfall.

ALL those waiting at the mall entrance naturally turned to gaze at the vehicle, many envious eyes fixating on it.

“Wow, who's the Lucky one? Someone with a Benz has come to pick her up!"

“My goodness! This feels like a scene straight out of a TV drama!" Emerging from the rain was Anthony, holding a black umbrella. Looking at him, Aurora sneered. "What a jerk!”

Claudia glanced at him and immediately averted her gaze. She had no desire to interact with Anthony again. It would simply be a waste of her time!

Before long, Anthony made his way over, heading directly towards Kristy.

As Anthony approached, most of the onlookers cast their eyes towards Kristy, filled with envy.

"What an ideal couple “Such a dashing boyfriend, always at her disposal to pick her up on rainy days. I can‘t help but be envious."

With everyone's envious glances and murmurs trailing them, Kristy stepped under Anthony's umbrella.

As she took Anthony's arm, she shared a cheeky wink with her friend, Amya Brewer.

Amya glanced at Claudia and then said, "Mr. Nixon, Miss Marshall is here too. Don't you want to offer her a ride?”

Anthony's expression shifted subtly. He turned around and soon spotted Claudia amongst the crowd.
