As Marcia served dish after dish, Claudia looked across at Bennett and casually mentioned, “I've taken a part-time job."

“Mathews' concert tour starts next month. The first stop is here in our city. He's invited me to accompany him on piano for two pieces."

“Is the pay substantial?"

Thinking of the three million, Claudia grinned and replied, "It's not an enormous sum. But for ten minutes of playing, earning three million is quite the effortless task!"
