The housekeeper had gone for the day, leaving only Claudia and Bennett in the villa.

Standing by the French window and engrossed in a call, Bennett was illuminated by the soft glow of the orange sunset. The light caressed the sharp contours of his profile, drawing Claudia's eyes to his tall nose.

She realized that she'd always focused on Bennett's eyes and lips, never noticing how perfectly formed his nose was as well.

He truly was a man of exceptional beauty, every feature seemingly sculpted with precision!

Feeling her gaze, Bennett turned to look at her.

As Bennett tilted his head, part of his face was in the Light while the rest remained in the dark. Under the intertwining light and darkness, he looked like a person coming out of a comic book.

Claudia couldn't suppress a gasp, and as her eyes met his deep-set ones, time seemed to freeze. All she could hear was her erratic heartbeat.

Somebody helped her! This man was too handsome!

“Bye,”

Bennett said as he ended the call and approached Claudia. His eyes drifted over her collar, finally resting on her graceful shoulder. "The dress... It's very beautiful.”

Claudia briefly met his gaze before Looking away, managing a simple, “Thank you."

"Shall we Leave now?

He reached out his hand and Claudia blinked in surprise, responding, “Yes.”

But what did he mean by offering his hand like that?

Was he expecting payment for the gift?

Just as she was about to inquire about the cost, Bennett grasped her hand and remarked, "I need to get used to this ahead of time."

Hearing this, Claudia, who had almost pulled her hand away, flushed with understanding and agreed, “Alright ."

It appeared they needed to become comfortable with holding hands beforehand.

For a moment, she really thought he was demanding money!

Claudia didn't dare to ponder further. She pushed the thought away and accompanied Bennett to the car.

Bennett didn't take a driver with him today, so he drove by himself. As the car glided smoothly down the road, Claudia found herself studying her hand that had just been held by him.

She didn't have much experience with men. Were their hands usually this warm?
