Chapter: 433
"Yes, you're right. How did you find out?" Zaria said surprisingly.
This time, Claudia felt truly flustered. "Miss Santiago, I need to use the bathroom," she stammered, and quickly departed the room.
Zaria, confused, called after her, "Cece! The bathroom's not that way!" But her words were too late. Claudia had already rushed downstairs. Zaria remained there, bafflement written across her face.
Why had Claudia fled after hearing her confession?
Did Claudia despise her?
The very thought soured Zaria's mood.
Zaria's words had obviously shocked Claudia.
Though Claudia had been confessed to many times since childhood, this was her first confession from a girl.
She had no issue with Zaria's sexual orientation, and she was just a Little overwhelmed by the fact that a girl had a crush on her.
Frantically seeking Bennett, Claudia regretted leaving him alone earlier.
"Oh, Bennett, where are you? Can we go home now?" Claudia muttered as she looked around for her husband.
The hall was vast and crowded, and after searching for over ten minutes, Claudia still couldn't find Bennett.
Her phone was in the pocket of Bennett's jacket. Calling Bennett was impractical since she couldn't remember his number, but dialing her own number seemed Like a plausible idea!
With this in mind, Claudia began searching for someone willing to lend her a mobile phone for a call.
After observing her surroundings, she eventually settled on a Lovely woman.
The lovely woman was dressed in a black slip dress and a white jacket. The jacket boasted two pockets perfectly suited for a phone.
Claudia approached her with a friendly smile. "Hi."
“Hello, Miss Marshall.”
The lady smiled back.
Taken aback, Claudia asked, "Do you know me?"
Was she really that well-known?
“Yes, you were the International Lierina Award winner last year. You are remarkable."
Blushing, Claudia requested, "May I ask a favor?"
The woman agreed with a pleasant smile.
