Chapter: 536
“But it doesn't matter. Go ahead."
Feeling a surge of relief, Claudia quickly retreated upstairs to her room.
Once the door was closed, she Lightly slapped herself on the lips.
Her mouth was always getting her into trouble!
After calming down, she told Aurora about the incident, only to be ruthlessly mocked.
Claudia was speechless.
“You're the main culprit. How could you Laugh?" Aurora replied, “Sorry, I can't help it! This is golden!"
Claudia said, “Let's break up. I'll find myself another friend."
She just couldn't handle this bestie.
Knowing that Claudia was shy, Aurora Laughed for a while before asking seriously, "Did Mr. Dreskin only say these words? Didn't he say anything else?"
Claudia didn't want to continue the conversation.
“No. Do you think I'm not embarrassed enough?"
Aurora replied, "No, not Like that. I think, although you asked quite directly, wasn't Mr. Dreskin's attitude a bit ambiguous?"
Claudia would not be fooled again.
“Get out! He was just being polite!"
She wouldn't allow herself to be carried away, just because Bennett was a gentleman.
Claudia wasn't sure whether or not she was just imagining things. Since she asked Bennett a few days ago if he was seducing her, Bennett hadn't been showing her his “disheveled” self.
Well, it wasn't that Bennett used to parade around in front of Claudia looking all messy.
It was just that he no longer showed some skin when she was around.
In the past, the first thing Bennett did when he came home was to undo the topmost button of his shirt. Then, he would pour himself a glass of water and drink it while undoing his second button.
He didn't do that anymore. Even after swimming and working out, he kept himself all wrapped up. He no Longer exposed his body, at least not when Claudia was there.
Claudia was greatly hurt by this, and after realizing this, she'd had nightmares for two consecutive nights. In her nightmares, Bennett looked at her with expressionless eyes and told her not to flatter herself.
Because of her bad dreams, Claudia was a Little listless in practicing the piano today.
When Bennett came home from work every night, she no longer tried to strike up a conversation with him Like she used to over dinner.
