Chapter: 539
Yet, this Lifted Bennett's spirits.

For a prolonged moment, he observed the resting woman. Eventually, he gently shut her door behind him and departed.

The next day, Claudia woke up before sunrise. She had gone to bed around eight o'clock the previous night and was up by six o'clock. She felt refreshed.

She dolled herself up, slipped into an elegant dress, and donned a pair of comfy low-heeled sandals. Making her way out, she hailed a taxi to Aurora's place.

Humph! She deliberately wanted to avoid seeing Bennett. Didn't he always have his guard up around her?

Claudia had her pride. Perhaps it was best they steer clear of each other.

By the time Claudia reached Aurora's place, the clock hadn't struck seven.

Picking up breakfast on the way, she knocked on the door multiple times before Aurora, groggily, answered.

“Oh, my God! Is this real? What ungodly hour is this? Why on earth are you here?"

"Is seven too early or something?" Claudia huffed, striding confidently into the apartment.

Glancing at the wall clock, Aurora noted that it was just quarter to seven.

Was Claudia insane?

Aurora had barely managed to catch a few winks of sleep, finally getting a chance to relax on the weekend. However, her hopes for a peaceful morning were dashed when Claudia arrived with an unexpected wake-up call.

Yawning and ruffling her disheveled hair, Aurora noticed Claudia setting the breakfast on the table, signaling her to freshen up. "Wash up and brush your teeth. We've got a day ahead.”

Aurora was at a loss for words. She shot Claudia a pleading look, but to no avail. Claudia promptly ushered her to the bathroom, readied her toothbrush, and imparted some wisdom.

“Time is gold, and no amount of gold can buy time back! Freshen up, grab some food, and let's have fun today

“Cece, didn't we decide on meeting around noon yesterday?"

Claudia shrugged and said, "Did we? My bad I remember it wrong. But now that I'm here, you wouldn't expect me to pop back at noon, right?” Couldn't she drive her away? Definitely not!

Aurora was left dumbfounded.

She had never been this speechless before.

After freshening up, Aurora was still a bit groggy, yawning continuously.

But what could she possibly do?

Claudia was already having breakfast. She couldn't just crawl back to bed, could she?

With Little choice, Aurora took a seat across from Claudia, sipped some warm water, and felt more awake. She Looked at Claudia, sipping her soy latte, and remarked, "Something's off with you today, Cece."
