What the hell! I already owned up to something I didn't do! What is Bennett doing? Duncan thought bitterly.

Grover finally stepped in and said, "ALL right, enough with this. We're all here now. We can ride without having female companions. We'll bring a few next time if that makes you feel better, Bennett.”

Bennett clicked his tongue and retorted, "So you guys just tricked me into bringing my wife here, huh?"

Duncan was confused. He put on a puzzled expression.

Grover, on the other hand, didn't know how to respond. Finally, he said, "Yes. Duncan said he wanted to get to know more about her." Duncan whipped his head toward Grover.

The act had gone too far, and Duncan had been thrown under the bus twice already. There was no point letting Bennett lose face in front of Claudia.

While cursing Bennett in his heart, Duncan looked at Claudia with a smile and said, “I often hear Bennett talk about you, so I got curious. I hope you don't mind. I don't have any other intentions."

Grinning sheepishly, Claudia replied, "It's quite all right. Don't worry about it.”

At this moment, Claudia's phone rang.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, she darted her eyes at the men in front of her and said, "Excuse me. I have to take this call. You guys go ahead and ride. I'll catch up with you."

“Okay,” Bennett nodded.

Seeing him nod, Claudia stepped away and answered her phone.

As soon as Claudia was out of earshot, Duncan snapped at Bennett, no longer able to hold back his anger. "Don't go too far, Bennett!" Duncan thought that Bennett would feel a bit guilty, so he was surprised when Bennett flashed him an expressionless Look in response. Bennett said flatly, “Well, you wanted to meet my wife, didn't you?"

“I didn't say that!" Duncan said through gritted teeth.

Breck was puzzled, but he also chimed in, "I saw her last night at Kristy and Anthony's shindig."

Grover added, "All right, that's enough. Displaying excessive affection easily leads to separation."

Bennett looked away and then glared at Grover, saying, "Get lost."

After hanging up with her assistant, Claudia went back to the guys and saw that Breck, Grover, and Duncan had already gone to ride.

Bennett remained there, waiting for her. He had some protective gear in his hands.

Claudia hurriedly walked over to him and said, "Sorry that call took a little long. My assistant called me to confirm my performance schedule for the next few months.”

“How many performances are you putting on in the next few months?" Claudia glanced at Bennett and replied, "Not many. Just two."

She actually had many offers this year, but she declined most of them because they were abroad and too far away. She didn‘t want to travel much this year.

Bennett held the knee pads and said, "Come here. Let me help you put these on.”

Feeling self-conscious, Claudia hurriedly took the knee pads and said, “No, it's okay. I can put them on myself."
