Chapter: 60
Perplexed, Jackson, who was occupying the front passenger seat, swiveled to Bennett and inquired, "Sir, what seems to be the issue?"

“Your shift ends here. Take a taxi back. The company will cover the charges.”

Jackson had been prepared for Bennett's fury. Zavier Gilbert, their business partner, had behaved irresponsibly during the dinner earlier, even orchestrating a “surprise” for Bennett, who directly exited the private chamber with a blank expression. Once in the car, he maintained silence until answering a phone call about thirty seconds Later

On comprehending Bennett's instructions, Jackson signaled the driver and both promptly exited the vehicle.

Bennett, with his long legs, made his way to the driver's seat. He slightly leaned forward and smoothly settled into the car.

Soon, the Bentley vanished into the distance, leaving Jackson and the driver roadside.

A quarter of an hour later, the Bentley entered the Munville Villa Complex. A couple minutes following, the Bentley leisurely navigated a lane, coming to a stop before villa number 15.

Upon exiting the vehicle, Bennett spotted a figure next to the car ahead. It was none other than Anthony.

Bennett's gaze at Anthony was indifferent, akin to viewing a stray dog on the streets.

Feeling the contempt in Bennett's stare, Anthony's facial expression grew darker. "Bennett, you are truly talented in acting."

Bennett hit the doorbell, and then turned to face Anthony. "In that case, make sure you stick around long enough to witness our performance. Don't drop dead before our wedding and our shared joy.”

Just as he finished his scoffing and haughty remarks, Elmo, the Marshall family's butler, emerged. "Mr. Dreskin, please come in."

Elmo's respectful demeanor stirred envy in Anthony. This was the way Elmo used to treat him, but now his humility was reserved for Bennett.

The moment Bennett set foot inside the villa, Anthony instinctively trailed him. But before Anthony could step into the villa, Elmo blocked him, stating, "Mr. Nixon, Mr. Marshall has made clear you are not welcome in the Marshall residence."

With that, Elmo shut the door right in Anthony's face.

Anthony stood there with a stormy expression, watching Bennett following Elmo inside.

“Mr. Dreskin, Mr. Marshall and Miss Marshall await you upstairs."

Bennett gave a nod and accompanied Elmo up to the second floor.

Upon hearing the doorbell, Claudia knew Bennett had arrived. Reflecting on the manner in which she had phoned him earlier, she felt her ears heat up.

Caught in her thoughts, Claudia was interrupted as ELmo guided Bennett to her. "Mr. Dreskin is here."

Bennett greeted Jace, “Good evening, Mr. Marshall."

Subsequently, his dark eyes settled on Claudia who was seated on the couch.
