Chapter: 631
On the following day, as she stirred awake, the sun poured through the unshuttered floor-to-ceiling window, casting a radiant glow. She sat up, momentarily adrift in the hazy boundary between dreams and reality, struggling to decipher the veracity of the previous night's events.

Last night, she had confessed her affection to Bennett, and to her astonishment, he hadn't rebuffed her; he, in fact, admitted his affection in return.

Was it a genuine exchange of emotions, or had it been a mere figment of her dream-woven mind?

Could it be that they had indeed shared several tender kisses?

It all felt ethereal, Like a reverie.

After contemplation, Claudia embarked on her morning ablutions, enhancing her appearance with a touch of makeup.

The morning unfolded much like previous ones. Upon descending the stairs, she encountered Bennett, who had just completed his morning swim. Their paths converged on the first-floor landing.

Yet, Claudia couldn't help but blush at the recollection of the previous night's occurrences.

She couldn't bring herself to meet Bennett's gaze, quickly uttering a timid, "Good morning," before hurrying to the dining area.

Raising an intrigued eyebrow, Bennett ascended the stairs to change his attire.

“Did you rest well Last night?" he inquired.

Claudia was sipping her milk when his question caught her off guard, causing her to choke.

Sitting beside her, Bennett placed a comforting hand on her back and advised, "Take your time with that drink."

Claudia, ever bashful, found herself coughing even harder in response to his touch.

Recognizing her discomfort, Bennett withdrew, focusing on his own breakfast.

After a prolonged bout of coughing, Claudia finally regained her composure and met the gaze of the person beside her.

“I'm fine now,” she assured, though guilt gnawed at her conscience.

Amused by her reddened ears, Bennett gently inquired, “Do you have any plans for today?"

The prospect of another wonderful weekend Lay before them. Blushing with embarrassment, Claudia admitted, "No."

“Okay," Bennett responded, understanding her unspoken sentiment. Bennett chose to maintain his silence, letting the unspoken tension linger in the room.

Following breakfast, Claudia delicately set her cup aside and gracefully excused herself, citing the piano as her diversion.

However, her destination was not the piano room; instead, she retreated to her bedroom, securing the door behind her. Clutching her chest, where her rapidly pulsating heart seemed to demand her attention, she cast her gaze upward, lost in thought.

A knock on the door then sent Claudia's heart into a frenzy.

Summoning her courage, she inhaled deeply, attempting to regain composure. Slowly, she extended her hand to unlock the door and inquired, "What's the matter?"
