Unfortunately, both of them handled defeat well and had no problem acknowledging it. They went in search of someone to say "I Love you" while holding the clubs.

It seemed that Breck's bad Luck did not end there. He confessed to a grumpy-Looking man, who chased him with a golf club for a good ten minutes afterward.

Claudia pulled out her phone to record Breck's misfortune, while Bennett watched as she did so.

The expression on Kayla's face went ice cold as she stared at them. Suddenly, Grover, who had been standing next to her, called out to her, “Miss Bryant."

Kayla blinked, slightly startled. "Yes?"

"You dropped your club."

Kayla looked down and saw the golf club at her feet.

As she crouched down to pick it up, Grover spoke up again.

“Do you like taking other people‘’s possessions, Miss Bryant?"

He sounded so unmotivated, but the message behind his words was clear.

Kayla glanced at Bennett before looking away immediately. "I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Yates.”

"He's not yours, and he will never be, no matter how much you pine for him."

Kayla gave an awkward smile. "Do you think Bennett likes Claudia?"

“My opinion doesn't matter; Bennett's choice does."

Grover had never been a gentleman, so he did not bother sugarcoating his words.

“From the moment you joined our group until now, Bennett has given you no more than a passing glance. Earlier, Claudia purposefully changed the subject, and Breck immediately went along with it. None of us talked to you. Do you know why?"

In a sneer, Grover continued, "I can't ask you to stop embarrassing yourself, but your presence put all of us in a foul mood."

His words caused Kayla's face to flush. She then asked snidely, "Do you know that Bennett has been in love with someone before?"

“Have you seen that girl?" Grover inquired with narrowed eyes.

“I haven't, but I know that Bennett has been Looking for her for years. He never forgets about her and he's just pretending to like Claudia. I'm sure you already know that."

At that, Grover smirked. "Have you ever thought that maybe Claudia is that girl he fell in Love with?"

Kayla's eyes instantly widened in shock.

Grover's words were Like bullets going straight for Kayla's heart.

She had never been this taunted in her life. However, the panic on her face only lasted for a moment before she quickly calmed down.
