Chapter: 647
For some reason, she suddenly felt jittery.

“I'm really not good at golf.”

"It's fine."

Bennett then pulled her away from the group. "Mrs. Dreskin, let's make another bet between us, okay?"

Claudia gave him a questioning look.

Curious, Claudia blinked her eyes and asked, "What's the bet?"

“If we win first place, you'll say those words to me."

“What words?" Claudia asked in confusion.

A second later, she realized what he was talking about.

As her cheeks reddened, Claudia raised a hand to touch them.

“What if we didn't win first place?”

“Then, I'll be the one to say those words to you.”

Claudia's heart raced when she met her obsidian eyes. "Oh, okay." Breck, who was leading the group, glanced at the two people on the back. "Mr. and Mrs. Dreskin, could you please hurry up?"

Claudia, overcome with embarrassment, Lowered her head. "Let's go!" Bennett smiled and reached out to take her hand as they approached the group.

“What's the point of having long legs if you're going to walk slowly?" Snoring, Breck regarded Bennett's Legs with a mocking look.

Bennett arched an eyebrow and asked, “Are you in a hurry to lose to me?"

Breck sent him a look of disdain. "It's still too early to tell who's going to lose and who's going to win."

The truth was, he knew he probably could not beat Bennett and Claudia, regardless of how well he worked with Duncan.

Claudia might not be a great golfer, but she actually did quite well today.

On the other hand, while Breck did have some golfing skills, he was not in excellent shape today.

When Kayla inserted herself into the group, she hoped to strike up a conversation with Bennett, but the man was so quiet. When he did speak, it was always with Claudia.

Due to Breck's constant chatter and Grover's consistent silence, she never got the chance to speak with the others as well.

After the first round, Kayla was left frustrated.

As predicted, Breck and Duncan ended up on the losing end.
