Chapter: 66
Claudia followed his indication to discover several cars tailing them.

Among them, she spotted Anthony's vehicle.

The realization of Bennett's insinuation dawned upon her. Tight-Lipped, she suggested, “Is it okay for me to go to your house instead?"

“You don't need my approval to visit our home,"

Bennett countered and averted his gaze. As the traffic signal transitioned from red to green, he set the car into motion again.

With Anthony now in pursuit, Claudia and Bennett were unable to proceed with her brilliant Little plan.

If Claudia and Bennett were to go out for a midnight snack, Anthony would only be more sure that they weren't Living together.

Claudia and Anthony had known each other for twelve years.

A deep understanding had formed over this period, which had now been disrupted by Delilah‘s presence.

Lost in her reverie, Claudia barely noticed the deceleration of the car.

When she refocused, she discovered they had arrived at Bennett's residence.

As the automatic gates parted to allow entry, Bennett drove into the well-manicured garden. Though illuminated by scattered Lights, she couldn't quite discern the full expanse of the garden.

Her heart beat faster.

This was her first visit to Bennett's place.

As the car eased into the garage, Claudia found herself grappling with an overwhelming wave of nervousness.

Bennett's fingers deftly clicked open his seat belt.

He unlatched the car door but made no move to exit. Instead, he allowed his body to lean slightly toward Claudia, his left hand gripping the steering wheel. "This is it. We're home."

Following this, he extended a hand to Claudia, assisting her with her seat belt.

Claudia's actions stilled for a brief moment. The comforting scent of wood overwhelmed her senses, causing her to remain motionless.

However, Bennett simply unbuckled her seat belt and exited the vehicle.

Once out, he moved to the rear door, retrieved the wheelchair, and placed it by the entrance of their garage.

Three steps led up to the garage door. As Claudia tentatively approached the steps, Bennett, having set down the wheelchair, suddenly lifted her into his arms.
