Chapter: 668
“Why are your cheeks so rosy? Are you feeling alright?"

As he spoke, he strode over, wrapping an arm around her waist and effortlessly drawing her close.

His other hand felt her forehead, noting, "You don't have a fever." Reading her expression, a smirk played on Bennett's lips as he asked

“Did you dream something interesting, Mrs. Dreskin?"

Claudia's heart fluttered with embarrassment, and she retorted with a hint of frustration, "Nothing!"

With a huff, she slid into her slippers and dashed into the bathroom. She made sure to lock the door behind her.

Bennett chuckled softly to himself, heading to the wardrobe to fetch a fresh outfit. He settled on the bed's edge, patiently waiting for her return.

After Claudia freshened up by washing her face and rinsing her mouth she opened the door to find Bennett seated on the edge of the bed, his attention unwaveringly on her.

A bit flustered, she inquired, "Were you planning to use the bathroom?"

“I assumed you wanted to see me change clothes here, Mrs. Dreskin.“ Claudia's cheeks blushed and said, "I didn't think that!"

Why would her mind wander like that?

However, if he needed to change his clothes in this room, she would be fine with it.

She sat in front of the dresser, dabbing lotion onto her face.

By the time she was done, Bennett had already slipped into his day's attire.

Today, he sported a black satin Loose shirt, complemented by slim, tailored pants.

Without the constraints of a formal suit and tie, he emanated an easygoing vibe. His usually stoic face seemed even more striking.

She sneaked a peek at him, and then quickly turned her eyes elsewhere. Well, this man was so handsome!

And to think, this dashing man was her husband!

This realization brought a radiant smile to her face.

Noticing her glee, Bennett softly remarked, “Let's visit your father after breakfast."

Claudia was so surprised that her hand trembled, causing the phone to slip from her grasp.

As the phone nearly fell to the floor, Bennett quickly caught it, teasing, “Are you having trouble even holding onto your phone?"

Flustered, Claudia explained, "I didn't have a good grip on it."

He simply grinned without saying a thing, escorting her downstairs to eat.
