Chapter: 691
Claudia cursed Aurora inwardly. It was her fault.
Why did she have to bring that package up?
Bennett studied her for a moment. He did not take his eyes off her until the Light turned green. Only then did he restart the car.
It was already half past nine when they arrived home. Claudia yawned the moment she stepped foot inside the villa.
She did not take a nap at noon, so she felt sleepy now.
“Are you tired?"
Claudia nodded. Her eyes watered as she stifled another yawn.
“Drink this. Then, go and take a shower."
"Alright."
She took the glass of warm water Bennett handed her, drank from it, and then headed upstairs.
Bennett also drank some water before following her.
Claudia really felt sleepy. In the bedroom, she set the glass down on the table, grabbed a set of clothes, and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
When she reemerged, Bennett was already in the room, waiting for her on the bench at the end of the bed.
He rested his elbow on the armrest, tilting his head to the side as he stared at her.
“Did you have fun today?”
Claudia blinked at the question, and then she replied, "Yes.
Didn't you?"
“I did, but I got a bit disappointed at the end."
Bennett smiled at her and added, "I'd Like it better if you also posted a photo of my face on your Facebook, Mrs. Dreskin.”
Claudia lowered her head, feeling slightly embarrassed. "You saw that?"
“Yeah.”
Her gaze was anywhere but on him.
“You were driving, and I suddenly had the urge to post something on Facebook."
She was only able to discreetly snap a few shots of Bennett's profile earlier for fear that it would distract him from driving.
