Bennett then noticed the pile of gifts on the table. "I see that you have a very generous friend."

Claudia turned to see what had caught his attention and said, "Miss Santiago is so strange. I don't understand why she likes sending me things."

Snorting, Bennett ordered, “Don't accept anything from her anymore. If you want gifts, I'LL give them to you."

Claudia spotted the displeasure on Bennett's face and snickered. She commented jokingly, "Bennett, you get jealous so easily, do you?"

"It's good that you're aware of it, Mrs. Dreskin," Bennett said in a low voice. Then, he lifted Claudia's chin and leaned in for a kiss.

Her lips were claimed before she could react.

Instinctively, she gripped his shirt tightly. Bennett kissed her Like her Lips were a piece of sweet candy.

He never swallowed them; he just nibbled on them.

Claudia's breathing became increasingly labored. The weather was so warm that the air itself seemed to be on fire.

It was not until she felt coldness on her skin that she realized her top was being pulled up.

The coldness immediately brought her back to reality. She pulled away from him and placed a hand on his chest to stop him from going after her Lips.

Bennett reached out and caressed the smooth skin on her waist. Claudia shivered at how warm his hand was.

It was as though her heart were on fire, and it scared her a Little.

“Bennett—"

The man took one glance at her, gave in to her silent plea, and stopped what he was doing.

He cradled her in his arms and leaned back on the sofa. "Mrs. Dreskin, can you tell me when I can finally have you?"

Claudia looked up at him with tears in her eyes and asked, “Is that all you want from me?"

If she gave him what he wanted and had sex with him, would he leave her afterward?

Bennett, unable to stand the way she was looking at him, covered her eyes with his hand and muttered, "Don't Look at me like that."

Claudia's skin crawled a Little at the sound of the man's husky, deep voice, which sounded like grit being ground.

She swallowed and drew away from him, her cheeks flushing brightly.

“We've only known each other for about three months."

She believed it was too soon to have any sexual activity with him. Claudia even had no idea that she would fall in Love with a man so quickly.

It also seemed plausible, though, that Bennett was the man who captured her heart.
