She really liked Bennett a lot. With that in mind, Claudia found herself smiling into the kiss.
Claudia's legs felt weak when Bennett released her from his embrace. She leaned against him. Her breaths came in short gasps as she tried to steady herself.
The flames had already burned out, Leaving only a faint glow on the sand. Claudia watched as the Last embers flickered and died. Her heart slowly calmed back to normal after the intensity of the moment.
Bennett gently smoothed her hair, and then after a while, he asked, “Shall we go back?"
Claudia's face was flushed as if she had been drinking. "Okay," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
She suddenly felt self-conscious, imagining what passersby might think of the intimate moment she had just shared with Bennett.
Claudia had never expected her birthday celebration to be so wild and unrestrained. As she and Bennett made out on the beach, she felt a rush of excitement and passion that she had never experienced before. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the warmth of the sand beneath her feet, and the taste of Bennett's lips on hers all combined to create a moment of pure bliss.
Bennett glanced at her with a smile and took her hand. "Let's go home, Mrs. Dreskin."
Claudia pointed at the rubbish on the ground, her brow furrowed in disapproval. "Shouldn't we clean that up?"
Bennett Looked at her with a playful smile on his Lips.
“Oh, aren't you the model citizen?" he teased.
“Don't worry. Someone will come and clean it up later."
Claudia smiled. "Then let's go home."
Taking a deep breath, she felt a sense of satisfaction. It seemed Like
Bennett had put a Lot of thought and effort into planning this surprise for a while.
As they made their way back, Claudia couldn't contain her disappointment.
“Oh no! I completely forgot to record a video of it.”
She felt regretful, as the scene was so picturesque. It would have been a great memory if she had recorded a video.
“Don't worry, we can always capture it next time," said Bennett cheerfully.
Claudia nodded. "I suppose. But it won't be the same." There was a hint of sadness in her voice.
“Really?” he asked with a faint smile.
“Yes.”
Claudia nodded as she looked back at the beach with reluctance.
Suddenly, Bennett stopped and smiled knowingly. He placed his hands on her shoulders and turned her around.
